Activities for Social Cause
Rotary – M.S. Ramaiah Polio Surgery Camp
Under an MOU between M.S. Ramaiah Medical Teaching Hospital and Rotary Peenya (1997), camps were conducted for detection of polio-afflicted individuals, along with orthotic, wheelchair and walking-aid donation camps. Over 6–7 years, about 650 polio-afflicted individuals were operated upon, restoring mobility with or without orthotics and walking aids.
Cure Clubfoot India Clinic
Practising the Ponseti method of clubfoot treatment since 2005, Dr. Ranganath has attended and conducted various workshops and training courses on this modality. Free clubfoot treatment for children continued at M.S. Ramaiah Medical Teaching Hospital with support from individual donors and organisations.

Participated in numerous free medical camps under M.S. Ramaiah Medical College & Hospitals from 1995 to 2013.
Annual Health Check-up at Srishti Academy
Annual health check-ups for differently abled children at Srishti Academy's special school on Magadi Road, Bangalore — conducted with physiotherapists, an occupational therapist and orthopaedic post-graduates.
