Activities for Social Cause
- Rotary – M.S.Ramaiah Polio Surgery Camp
M.S.Ramaiah Medical Teaching Hospital entered into an MOU with Rotary Peenya, Bangalore in 1997. We conducted various camps for detection of Polio afflicted individuals. Orthotic / Wheelchair / Walking Aid donation camps were conducted. Over the next 6 - 7 years, we operated upon about 650 polio afflicted individuals, making them ambulant again with or without the help of Orthotics and / or walking aids
- Cure Clubfoot India Clinic
I have been practicing the Ponseti method of Clubfoot treatment from 2005. I have attended various workshops / CMEs on Ponseti Clubfoot correction and have conducted various training courses on this treatment modality over the years. We were associated with Cure Clubfoot Organization for provision of free treatment to these children for about 6 months. However, we discontinued this association because of the policy change in the Cure Clubfoot organization. The free treatment of clubfoot children at M.S.Ramaiah Medical Teaching Hospital however, continued with donations from individuals & other Organizations

- Annual Health Check-up at Srishti Academy
Srishti academy runs a special school for differently abled children at their campus on Magadi Road, Bangalore. We ( Self, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapist & Post-graduates in Orthopaedics) used to conduct annual health check-up for these differently abled children
